Simulate amblyopia (lazy eye) visual effects across anisometropic, strabismic and deprivation subtypes. Explore cortical suppression, reduced visual acuity, contrast loss, and crowding from disrupted visual development during the critical period. Inspect ΔE & chromatic shifts from blur and spatial frequency attenuation in the amblyopic eye.

Research notes
Amblyopia simulates unilateral or bilateral visual cortex under-development during the critical period. Anisometropic mode applies defocus blur from inter-ocular refractive difference. Strabismic mode models cortical suppression of the deviating eye. Deprivation mode simulates the most severe acuity loss from congenital cataract or ptosis. Crowding checkbox adds spatial letter-recognition interference at peripheral eccentricities.
